Cath Tate Cards shortlisted for the Henries awards
We’re doing a little dance of joy at Cath Tate Cards this week, because we’ve found out we’ve been shortlisted for two Henries awards!
The fabulous Terrific Humans by Veronica Dearly have been shortlisted for the best contemporary words and sentiments award. The Photocaptions range have been nominated for the Henry Cole classic award. The Henry Cole award is for a range that has been around since the dawn of time and still sells!
The Henries awards are the greeting card industry awards, named after Henry Cole who sent the first ever Christmas card in 1843.
To put it into context, over 14,000 cards were entered into this year’s Henries and these were judged by an impressive Judging Panel, made up of 50 top retailers (including buyers from Paperchase, Scribbler, John Lewis, Fenwick, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Moonpig, as well as many leading independents).
The winners are announced at the awards on 3rd October 2019.
