FAQ & How to Order
The Cath Tate Cards online shop makes browsing and ordering cards easy for both retailers and individuals alike.
If you’re ordering for yourself, you can either order as a guest or create a retail customer account, which will allow you to save your previous orders and delivery addresses to make the ordering process as quick and easy for you in future as possible.

If you are a trade customer wishing to order for resale, you will need to be registered and logged in as a trade user. For more information please see our trade customer help, available here.
Registering for an account is quick, easy and free. To open a personal account complete the online regististration form here. Be sure to complete all fields, including entering and confirming a secure password, and click on register to proceed.
Please note, you can only register one account to a single email address. Should you receive an error message stating the email address has already been used, you can login using the information you have previously provided. If you can't recall this information, you can use the password reset function to reset account acccess.
After completing and submitting the form you will receive confirmation of successful registration. Click on return to homepage and you should now see your registered name in the upper right. You are now ready to shop.
Click on My Account to add and save delivery addresses to your account for quick and easy checkout. Alternatively, you can enter this information at time of checkout. From the My Account page you can also update your contact information or change your password at any time and see an overview of your order history.

To place an order, first browse or search for the product you wish to purchase. Our products are sorted into ranges, occasions and product types to make it easy for you to locate the card or gift you need.
Clicking on the Add button below an item will add a single unit of the product to your shopping cart. If you wish to order more than one of a product you can increase the quantity in the box above the Add button. You can also adjust the quanities of each product in the shopping cart before checking out.
You can view your shopping cart at any stage by clicking on the cart icon in the upper right of the website.
You can delete an item from your cart by selecing the box next to the product in the remove column on the shopping cart page and pressing recalculate.
Once you have added all your products to the cart you can proceed to the checkout by clicking on the cart icon. If you have a promotional code, enter it here to apply any discount. Then click on Checkout to procede.
While you can continue through the checkout process as a guest, we recommed logging in or registering for an account before proceeding. This is quick and free and allows you to keep track of your orders.
When you check out don't forget to select a delivery type —Royal mail or next day delivery. If you are ordering from abroad the website will provide delivery options according to your delivery location. See Delivery for more information on our delivery options and costs.

Payment can be made via credit, debit card and PayPal. We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Switch, Visa, Delta, Maestro, MasterCard and American Express. Your card won't be charged until you have been notified that your order has been accepted.
Privacy & Security
We endevaour to dispatch all orders by the next working day following receipt of order (we do not dispatch orders on weekends or UK bank holidays).
If you opt for next day delivery and place your order before 1pm on a weekday (excluding bank holidays), your order should be dispatched that day. Orders placed after 1pm may be dispatched the next working day, regardless of delivery method chosen.
You will be advised by phone or email of any delay to your order or if an item is unavailable.
For Royal Mail deliveries we ask customers to allow 3-5 working days for delivery to UK addresses. If you are ordering from abroad, these delivery times may be longer. During peak periods (e.g. Christmas) Royal Mail may take slightly longer than this to deliver your item.
Free delivery on orders over £25.
We offer free delivery within the UK on all orders of £25 and over.
A delivery charge of £2.75 applies to all UK orders under £25 with orders being sent via Royal Mail (First Class).
You may also select guaranteed (signed for) next day delivery by courier for orders within the UK at a cost of £6.
Please note: orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day (Monday to Wednesday and then Fridays, excluding bank holidays).

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of the dispatch date with your receipt, providing the goods are not damaged, to you will receive a full refund.
If for any reason you receive the wrong product in your order or if there is any problem with your order you can call us Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm on +44 (0) 20 8671 2166. You can also email us at email@example.com. If the wrong product has been supplied we will send out the correct product to reach you via the quickest and most convenient postal method for you together with a stamped, addressed envelope in order for you to return the incorrect product to us.
